The Major Accounts Representatives for outside sales is responsible for managing major outside sales accounts for their organization. They are in charge of providing support to account-holders and increasing brand loyalty. They are the first point of contact for customers and should possess strong communication skills to resolve sales issues and ensure an excellent customer experience.
They develop strong business relationships with existing major accounts to retain their business. Major accounts representatives for outside sales identify sales opportunities and follow up to demonstrate company products or services as needed.
They keep client lists of existing and prospective customers and report their progress to the outside sales vice president in their organization.
They also develop business sales strategies and implement them to retain and increase customer base, as well as use a personal computer to track their sales progress and communicate with prospective and current clients.
