    The IT Field Service Technician is responsible for all onsite service and support needs for our customers in general area of their assigned Network Operations Center.  This relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networking equipment, and vendor specific hardware and software. The technician will have our Bloomfield, NJ Network Operation Center as the dispatch point, and will have access to a company vehicle for service calls.


    • Onsite IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications
    • Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server, Exchange, etc.
    • Installation and support of hardware client site hardware, including workstations, servers and peripherals.
    • Installation and support for networking equipment, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and wireless platforms.
    • Remote access solution implementation and support including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
    • Evaluating and documenting IT equipment at client sites.
    • Ability to make recommendations to improve the IT environment at the client sites.
    • Strong communication skills are required.  Ability to keep clients informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or required maintenance outages
    • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
    • Escalate service issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs
    • Work through a daily schedule in ConnectWise that has been established through the dispatch process
    • Enter all work as service tickets into ConnectWise


    • A+, Network+, Server+ certification or equivalent required.
    • VMware, networking, and firewall knowledge preferred.
    • Problem solving skills, having the ability to diagnosis and resolve problems in a timely manner
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
    • Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided
    • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
    • Current driver’s license
